Notable Work

Co-Founder, Disabled & Outdoors

June 2020 - Present

As a Co-Founder for Disabled & Outdoors, I continue my advocacy work for the Special Needs and Disabled community through the online platform we have created. Originating on Instagram (@DisablednOutdoors), and later expanding to the website I built (www.DisabledandOutdoors.com), DnO is about creating outdoor access for all.

Disabled & Outdoors is a small, independent, BIPOC run organization made by and for the DisablednOutdoors community. Through this platform, our goal to showcase the incredible members of our community and fight for more inclusivity in both the Outdoor Community and Industry.

Founder, Gangesgal.com

August 2017 - Present

Over the summer of 2017, I launched my personal website and brand for Ganges Gal®. This website, and the following instagram account (@GangesGal) were aimed to document my experiences as a 20-something Indian-American woman. Over the course of the past three years, Ganges Gal® has grown into a platform that includes Self-Care and Wellness tips, Pop Culture guides, Outdoor and Adventure Blogs, and of course, my own personal story-telling.

Through Ganges Gal®, I have also been able to create the online community service platform, “Do Good Things Club.” DGT aims to promote advocacy, community service, and social justice through the belief that anyone can have a positive impact through their efforts— no matter what ability, experiential, or economic background they come from. Do Good Things Club promotes this inclusive belief through an updated calendar of community service events that expand from monetary donations to volunteer event participation. So far, through Ganges Gal®, DGT has raised over $3,000 in monetary donations to Saint Judes Children’s Hospital, Cancer Research at City of Hope, Adopt-a-Family, and various special needs classroom events.
